My love for the outdoors and nature led me to purchasing a small farm in Ennis, Texas in 2017 with the hopes of learning how to become more self sufficient. It has been a wild adventure where I am constantly learning and growing. Over the course of the last 4 years, we have added a menagerie of farm animals and they are like our family. My experience in the hospitality industry for over 10 years afforded me the opportunity to travel and visit some of the most beautiful hotels and resorts in the country. It inspired me to always want to own a boutique style hotel.
Bluebonnet Glamping was formed based on the marriage of my adoration of nature and travel and my passion for creating a luxurious hospitality experience. The farm is just too beautiful not to share. I was inspired by the large evergreens in the pasture, the local wildlife that visit the area and the Texas state flower the Bluebonnet. My hope is that I can create an environment where you are able to rest, relax and recharge.
Agriculture and living life sustainably is very important to me. I want to offer a great experience with a minimal footprint on the environment. Glamping is a gateway to the outdoors. My desire is that a stay at the farm will reconnect your soul with a simplicity that will spill over to future adventures
